This site, much like my life is dedicated to see GOD glorified through Jesus in this lost world. The difficulty enters in when men try to figure out how to glorify GOD. It seems to me that the man living in Romans chapter 8 typifies the glory of GOD and the man living in Romans chapter 7 typifies the man trying to glorify GOD. I for one would rather just do it than continue try and fail.
He who knew no sin became sin for us that we may become the righteousness of GOD.
How is it we become the righteousness of GOD? it can't be by works of the law or there would be reason to boast. It must be by believing on Jesus but many of us have believed then looked around and found that we were anything but the righteousness of GOD. If the justification of GOD does not work out to our actual righteousness then GOD must Himself be evil.

Love the comment about Romans 7 is man getting the glory by striving to be good with his own strength(which is impossible) - vs Romans 8
where God does it all and gets all the glory.
We so need to change our fleshly thinking from us DOING for God - (which makes our flesh feel sooooo good with pats on the back and arn't we so righteous) to entering into and acknowledging what God is DOING in us - the great cleansing of Sanctification. Lots of Christians I know think they were saved with past sins forgiven and now it's up to us to live godly and DO for Christ. What makes them think our flesh can do it now if it couldn't do it before? Christ changes hearts - we don't have power to stop sinning but Christ's power knocks it out of us - He is forever our Savior not just at the beginning.
Glory to God in the Highest !!
